Windows NT 4.0 Introduction: ------------- This document describes the procedure to install Windows NT v4.0 driver for D-Link DFE-538TX 10/100 Adapter. Location of Driver: \WINNT40\DLKRTS.SYS Installing driver procedure on Microsoft Windows NT : ----------------------------------------------------- When you are in Windows NT : 1. Select the 'Network' icon in the Control Panel Group. 2. Click the 'Add' button in the 'Network' Dialog Box. 3. Select the 'Adapter' and click the 'Add' button in the 'Network' Dialog Box. 4. Click the 'Have Disk' button in the 'Select Network adapters' Dialog Box. 5. Insert the driver disk in CD-ROM drive, enter drive and pathname ,EX: E:\WINNT40 which is the path where the setup file OEMSETUP.INF is located, and then choose the OK button. 6. The screen will appear "Duplex Mode" dialog box which is provide by DLKRTS.SYS driver. The default value is "auto" so that the D-Link DFE-538TX 10/100 Adapter and its driver DLKRTS.SYS will auto-detect the line speed, while the DLKRTS.SYS is loading. 7. NT will then perform the binding process. If any additional network software options were installed, you may be prompted for specific information for these packages. 8. Restarting your system you will acquire network service.
